We consider environmental responsibility at every step of the planning process, using local, organic, recycled, biodegradable, reusable or compostable materials wherever possible to make your event as low-waste as possible from start to finish without ever compromising the elegance or quality of the production. Our network of vendors all place a high premium on sustainable practices. At your request, we will have a trained waste management team oversee the waste sorting at your event and conduct a comprehensive waste audit to provide you with an environmental impact analysis if that is requested. Our event production team is creating a fabulous new event for the Pacific Pride Foundation, their first ever Royal Ball, with top name DJs, great entertainment and some seriously campy fun, with a few celebrities added to the mix for good measure. This event has a quadruple bottom line of fundraising, friend-raising, information dissemination, and brand creation. This event is supported by a broad cross-section donors, including huge honorary and working committees and will likely sell out before the invitations have even been sent!
The team at Merryl Brown Events was brought in by the American Heart Association in order to re-brand and revitalize an existing event formerly known as the Heart Ball. With the AHA's excellent staff and a great working committee, our 2012 event, which we are calling "Heart of the Matter", is sure to be a great success and a beautiful evening supporting a very important cause.
Merryl Brown Events was the event planner that coordinated PHN's incredible annual homeless outreach program for the past three years. This program brings vital medical and social services to over 500 local homeless men, women and children. PHN is a collaborative effort of many local groups and takes place at Casa Esperanza in Santa Barbara.
Merryl Brown Events were the corporate event planners that coordinated The Scholarship Foundation's first "friendraising" cocktail party in Montecito at a private estate. We are now the event designers and the corporate event planner for their 50th Anniversary Celebration to ensure a great evening of thanks for all of their esteemed supporters.
Merryl Brown Events was the fundraising event planner and made a significant in-kind donation as well as securing many auction items for The Howard School's 2010 fundraising event, which raised considerable funds for this small, private school in Carpinteria, CA.
