I simply adore the work of Los Angeles-based folk artist Baret Boisson. From her portraits of historical figures to her “Lucky” paintings, her color-filled works are imbued with a kind of nostalgic charm, wit and simplicity. Her wedding and family portraits make the most wonderful and ever-lasting gifts.  I recently saw some of her portraits in a private home and they really made an impression on me! She has a fun and very unique style.
